Women's Ministry

The goal of the Women's Ministry at Sugar Grove is to touch every woman's heart through relationships. Through Bible studies, fellowship, involvement and outreach, we seek to grow in our relationships with God and with each other.

Scripture: Colossians 3:17 - "And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."

We try to accomplish our goal through Bible Studies on Sunday Morning at 9:50 a.m. and Tuesday at 10:00 a.m.; through Involvement with our First Friends Brunch given for the new ladies to our congregation; through Special Events such as our Ladies Retreat, Holiday In The Grove and Take Care of Yourself Day; various Social Events such as Ladies Fun Nights; and through Outreach when we join the Hands of Christ Ministry in collecting Thanksgiving food baskets for those in need, and assisting with the Second Mile Mission Christmas Party.

WAYS YOU CAN HELP:

• Volunteer to plan, coordinate or host an event.
• Greet at Grand Central to help with sign-ups and sell tickets.
• Donate your time, money or food for events.
• Attend the events and classes.
• Invite friends and family to come.

Summer SUGAR Study

June 8, 15, 29 and July 6, 20, 27 -- The Women's Ministry is excited to offer HeartSpa by Group Publishing as our Summer SUGAR Study. Please join us as we prepare to strengthen a life-long relationship with Jesus. These 6 sessions on spiritual refreshment will help us learn to rest in Jesus, reflect, rejoice, and be renewed in God's love. Each session begins with a fun snack and time to mingle, then we will experience an activity that instills the weekly Scripture into our hearts. We will close their time together by committing to apply what we have discovered...and share in more girlfriend time. This study is a perfect entry point for women who have never studied the Bible before. All the Scripture is included in the HeartSpa book. And women well-versed in Scripture will be renewed by the series, too. And the great thing...there is NO HOMEWORK! :)

• Cost is $25 ($26 if you pay online) and includes the book and supplies.
• Childcare is $12 per child ($13 if you pay online). Childcare drop off begins at 9:30 and pick up ends at 12:20.
• Please bring a lunch for your child each week.
